after reading that i may be able to claim back my insurance for my loan i dug out my reference letter when i got the loan and was shocked that i am paying £2,220.64 for it over 5 years!
i took it out in 2007 so am i able to claim? i got it from natwest bank. im quite shocked really of how much it is and ive nevered even used it!

Hi Jimmy, if the ppi was mis sold for any reason then yes you can make a reclaim.
Checklist on the below link - along with a FOS questionnaire, you complete and send to whoever was responsible for selling it to you, keep a copy for yourself as well.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond, make sure you get proof of posting at your post office.
And these FOS questionnaires are used instead of template reclaiming letters on the first stage, you will come across this link below further down the page, good luck with this.;)
