Duet PPI reclaim?

I took out a Duet card a good 8 years ago and only have about a £500 balance on it but i have just noticed that i pay about £25 a month minimum payment to it, half of it being interest and half of it being payment protection!! So basically i have been paying nothing off it!

So it looks as though i have spend hundreds on payment protection over the last so many years. I can barely remember taking the card out it was that long ago, all i remember was it was in Warehouse that i got it. I have no idea whether they asked about pp so i have no idea whether i have a case or not!

can anyone help me?
Next: [STRIKE]£1872[/STRIKE] £1361
Duet: [STRIKE]£608[/STRIKE] £528
Egg: [STRIKE]£1270[/STRIKE] £1233
Barclaycard: [STRIKE]£4500[/STRIKE] £4398

    Hi there

Check the link below for further information, there is a checklist, if any of that occurs to you then you have a reason to make a reclaim on the ppi, there are many reasons you can make a reclaim, if they added the ppi without your knowledge and you assumed it was all part of the card, then give it a go.

You will also come across a FOS questionnaire, further down the page, stage one, you complete that, send it to whoever set up and sold you the policy, remember to keep a copy for yourself as well.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond, make sure you get some proof of posting at your post office.
These questionnaires are now used instead of template letters for the first stage of reclaiming.
Good luck and please keep us posted, cheers.;)

    Your very welcome.
You can of course write your own cover letter to enclose with the FOS questionnaire if you want to, for instance if you wanted to give them further information on your reclaim/complaint.;)
