    Sticky roller thingy:

But I suspect the parcel tape would be cheaper-and it's actually stickier, if the rollers I've used are anything to go by. I'd try that first.

I second the rubber bristled brush! We have a collie who looses an enormous amount of hair. She doesn't go upstairs where we have carpet but still find that the carpet gets full of her hair somehow! ANyway it's a dreadful carpet that really clings onto the hair so hoover is useless (proper pet one too!) but we have a rubber broom and it does an amazing job! Gets all the hair out on top of the carpet where you can then just pick it up and hoover up the rest.

Use a small paint roller and wind some of the white double sided sticky tape around it , available from pound shops etc . Works a treat !

I use a wet/damp cloth, found it picks up more than sticky tape and if you use watered down zoflora smells nice too. Picked this tip up off Kim and Aggy.

Plus poundland have rear seat covers, which I use in the boot for my pup especially useful after a trip to the beach!

A Tesco Value rubber glove. Must be the cheap type, Marigolds are too smooth.

I have three cats and the hair gets everywhere, so always have a pair of these under the sink.
