18185 billing

When will I get debited for my 18185 calls. I subscribed about 2 months ago but have yet to be billed. The curent bill is only £0.94 though - could that be why? Does it need to reach a threshold?

They don't necessarily invoice every month. The smallest amount I have been charged over the last couple of years is £ 1.75, and if there is little spending on calls there may be several months between invoices. Maybe the first invoice would be triggered at a small amount, just to verify that your DD information is usable.

My 1899 account has been in (£1) debit for over 2 years now. Clearly, the amount has to exceed a certain minimum before they'll make a call for payment.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

I've been signed up for more than a year with 18185 - I've just had my third bill - the bills range between £1.36 and £2.67

Hi, they usually required minimum spend before they take any payment. I think it is £1.20.

OK thanks that seems to be the consensus - I haven't spent enough to trigger a DD.
