My thanks to all for your replies. Much appreciated.

Marshallka, Yes, 'Bespoke', they have gone bust, my thinking is this, my loan was with GE Money as were my dealings.
They are the ones insisting I still pay full premiums, (despite the contract expiring last year). GE are the ones collecting my payments, so I believe they are the ones who should refund me my PPI.
    What are your thoughts.

    Thanks

I am a little concerned that you may have the wrong Bespoke FInance here. Bespoke finance that are attached to Freedom Finance are based in Gibraltar and not the ones that dissolved on companies house in 2009. This is a completely different company as I am aware.

They did but that is not a reason in itself for complaint. Its a reason that they pushed it of course but you cant complain that someone got paid for selling a product.

Thanks for calling me a crook. I guess you that approach call all doctors mudererers too.
Dunstonh, I really don't think it was aimed at you personally in the finance sector. I think it was more a case of venting some anger at how these firms have got away for so long with selling costly single premium PPI's as conditions (often!!) to loans when the person asking for a loan is already in debt and although they want to be sensible and insure against unemployment, redundancy and illness there was always a cheaper way to do this.:)

You can always try that way for your PPI back but I know that this is not how you would get the complaint through to FOS if you see what I mean. If however you are thinking of using the courts and have a lawful and valid argument then good luck.

I would think however that your loan was most certainly pre regulations and that your only way of using FOS (just for the PPI though) would be to complain to the underwriter of the insurance. FOS are accepting complaints against underwriters BUT as yet no-one has actually had one win for misselling. From what we are aware FOS solicitors and the insurers solictors are in "talks" of some sort against unregulated brokers as Bespoke were.

    Ahhh, Thanks marshallka

It was GE who told me that Bespoke are not trading any longer, that's strange, would have thought they would know for sure.

Arrh, OK maybe you are correct but the Bespoke attached to Freedom FInance are actually based in Gibraltar.

Bespoke Finance Limited (formally Karacus)., Suite 2G, Eurolife Building, 1 Corral Road, Gibraltar

There are two UK companies that have/hold the name of Bespoke Finance Limited and one of those has dissolved. These are neither to do with the one above though.

You could find out though by writing to GIB or asking at Freedom Finance.

Also after just googling I noticed there is another company mentioned on Freedoms legal and privacy called Moneio Ltd??? I have no idea who these are but will endeavour to find out lol. I would still check for sure if Bespoke are dissolved as such and how you stand there. There is no mention of Bespoke on freedoms site now though.

Thanks marshallka, I have just applied for my bank charges too, from Abbey, but don't hold out much hope there.
Sheesh, I've not managed to get a penny refunded back yet, ahh well, live and hope lol.

My CCA is on 'First Finance - A GE Company' headed paper, surely this is proof that GE provided the loan and the insurance?
Would this not explain why broker box is empty, no mention of Freedom Finance or Bespoke?
