high edf bills

i have just had a huge bill from edf as the year end price nd they have put up prices from 110 a month to 186 and taken 991 from my bank i am now left with nothing for the month every other company i have ben with put up charges the next year they dont take a lump amount of money as well im a boiling my bill for gas for 2 and a half months was £70 i olny use a gas cooker this cant be right surely
my gas bills are huge i have 2 baxi brazilla wall heater a fire and gas oven they cant be right surely there mus be a problem with m meter

    You need to look properly at your bill and tell us what it says - not just the amount of money, but the units you have used, the dates, and the meter readings... then we can really start helping!

    If they have taken £991 (??) you must have huge arrears due to previous estimated readings-when did you last submit a meter reading?
    They haven't 'put the price up', they've adjusted your direct debit either to cover your actual consumption or recover existing arrears.
    What is your actual monthly unit consumption in ft3 or m3?
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
