£160 Delta Gatwick to New York Flights

got carried away with the recent £160 Gatwick-New York tickets......... hurried a friend into a decision re him and his wife ......... found out 24 Hrs later they can't go .......... problem.... I have 2 tickets for them in there name ( no address or other info known about them by Delta but these are non-refundable and no change is allowed .........

have now had 3 emails to Delta Online Customer service Desk but am struggling to find anyone that's willing to offer me a glimpse of anything ( refund on 2 x tickets/ namechange or something) but just reiterates ' Company policy' ...... unfairly they do have a 24 hr Cancellation Risk Free Policy but only for flights originating in the U.S.

I haven't totally given up hope but so far it's not looking good.... I have the names of top CEO and others but am unsure as to whether this approach would do me any good..

Any ideas/ assistance would be appreciated

Wish I could offer better news on your first post, but as the terms and conditions were clearly stated when you purchased the tickets, am afraid that you're stuck with them.

You could give Delta a call and appeal to their better nature(?!), but I'm not sure how far that will get you.

As mentioned ....... this is the crazy part...... as well as being non-refundable there is no name change allowed either.. unless your flight originates in the U.S.

Could there be a SMITHAMR and SMITHSMRS on the forums???

You could always try searching BT.com or getting the local telephone book out?
