Wedding insurance!

Need help with which Wedding insurance to purchase?

I am planning to wed at the Ice hotel in Sweden in March 2011.

Any thoughts?

Don't know about the insurance, but just wanted to say, you'll have a brilliant time!

We were there in February this year for a wedding and it was incredible. Not at all what I had expected, but fabulous nonetheless.

The lady who conducted the ceremony was charming and the hotel had prepared a mini ice sculpture with the bride and grooms' names for the dinner and a commerative booklet for them.

The staff at the hotel are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeble, and really proud of the hotel. It was an amazing experience.

But be prepared - you have never felt cold like it! They give you thermal snow suits, etc but make sure you pack loads of thermals as well!

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere - there's a tiny village about 10 min walk away with a church, a restaurant and a supermarket - that's it. So I would suggest that you book some of the activities. We did the huskies and the night time snowmobiles to see the northern lights - fantastic!

We booked ours through Discover the World and took insurance through them but I can't remember how much extra it was. We just wanted to make sure we were covered for the extra activities. The bride and groom also took insurance through them but I'm not sure what sort of cover they had.

Sorry so much of that is not what you were asking about, but when you mentioned the Ice Hotel it brought back so many great memories - I'm so excited for you! Hope you have a fabulous time!
