House prices heading down not up

Tsk tsk, down Carol's way, it's all different of course. House prices in FREE FALL.
Not surprised she keeps the location of this deflationary utopia to her self, otherwise she'd be besieged by relieved STR and bedsit dreamers all falling over themselves to put in increasingly reduced offers. Imagine having to live in a HPC Ghetto0 -

No wonder his missus threw him out and shacked up with someone else, he must have worn her down with his tedious depressive nature.
Get a life ad and then come back and brag about your success cos owning a sh 1t hole outright doesn't cut it with me and neither does living on your own because you're too miserable for people to bear your company. you sad act.

You said in the link I posted that you expect heavy falls for the next two years and then you will buy. It did not happen, prices stoped falling, and two years later YOUR STILL NOT BUYING.
I've said it before and i'll say it again - Carlot Will NEVER be a homeowner.
Who's carlot?
No, I'm not buying - but for reasons that have nothing to do with house prices. Haven't looked to buy over the last 2 years. Will look again in c 1-2 years time, all being well.
However my decision when is the right time for me to buy strangely will have no impact at all on house prices nationally (well, no more than some tiny fraction of some percent - there is only 1 of me and I'm not planning on buying a property empire)... What is relevant is not when I feel it's a good time for me to buy but where I see house prices going.
And yes, I feel fairly comfortable sticking with my end-2011 prediction.
Happy to put my money where my mouth is.0 -

I didn't know you liked Shakespeare, chucky.
BTW, I take it you are looking for more BTL properties currently, as you are so convinced prices are set to rise?
Or do you not have the courage of your convictions?
Is it only other people you want to gamble with their hard-earned in the hope of keeping property prices high?0 -
