I am having trouble getting them through in my store. today I bought 2 x impulse at £1.98 and 4 x face wipes at £1.48 and a bar of soap to take it over the £10 but the till would only take 1x £1 and two 50 points. A totally different combination the other day didn't work either so I am picking the wrong BOGOFS or my store recognises the actual spend and not the total before bogofs. I may try with a straight £10 of stuff with no bogofs to see if that works as I have loads of 50 points still to use.

If anyone wants some of the money off vouchers (I will use the points ones if it kills me!), then pm me and I will put in the post tomorrow first class.

    Cheers

Welshy, I got all excited over the plax mouthwash aswell!

However, I'm gutted I was foiled on my last H & B shop! The cashier would not take all my vouchers!

I did two shops in the same visit today, pausing for a coffee in the cafe and putting my trolley in the trolley park. Bought the same h & b items in both transactions, but different cashiers. (shift had changed)

I bought each time with some other stuff:
    4 x Elvive shampoo / conditioner @ £2.98 each
    2 x plax mouthwash @ £2.99 each
    2 x Lynx shower gel @ £1.88 each

Total before bogof £21.66, total after £10.83, with H & B vouchers cost should have been £0.83, first cashier scanned all vouchers given including quick read.
The second cahsier took one £2.50 and three £1 vouchers (which doesn't really make sense)

I nearly had a full clear run. It now means I may have to go and have an early morning shop on a sunday,to use the last of my vouchers! Addicted me? Never.
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

  • many thanks for the vouchers waddy80 i had great fun in tesco today
    i bought
    shampoo
    conditioner
    handwash
    mouthwash
    and heatpacks
along with other shopping this came to 36.81
    15.73 deducted for bogofs
ended up paying 5.28 after all vouchers.
i hope next time anything like this comes out i get a better shot at it.

If anyone wants to use their h&B voucher for health. the glucosamina is BOGOF. I bought 2 (7.99) gave 4 ($1 vouchers) so $4 to pay and also 2 x $1 for vitamins so all that for $2. woo hoo.

    I know I might go again!;) ;);)
  • I took the children to see Father Christmas today and feeling all Christmassy I might do some Christmas wrapping of the toiletries tonight.

It has been a great offer and when I look at what I have got and what I have saved it is incredible.

:j :j I wonder if they will run the offer again. I will certainly be keeping my eyes open for more leaflets. My clubcard total stands at nearly £100 worth of tokens. A lot of which is due to this offer. Free toiletries and points.:j :j :j

Sounds as if you've lived at tesco's like me, i've got over £130 worth of points on my card and i've had to get temporary cards. Xmas is paid for as i was selling the toiletries on, as i had a suitcase load from the first time.
Had to keep a low profile this week, bought too much from one store.
