What about the discount vouchers Tesco's send out? Are these only redeemable against what they say, or will they scan against anything?

Have now scoured both Halifax stores, asked CS in both and neither have any H & B coupons at all, sigh!

if the vouchers that Tescos send out are tesco specific then yes they are only redeemable against what they say eg I had a voucher for £2.00 off gillette fusion but I did not buy it so it would not scan

If anybody has any spare vouchers I would love some and be prepared to swap for some of my till spits.

if you want to see what they look like they have been listed today on a certain selling site (nope not mine) but will give you an idea what to look for, basically the same as the previous ones

I have found by trial and error that these H&B vouchers will not scan against anything vaguely medical (or medicated). Seems strange not to include 'health' products in 'health & beauty'!

But that means you can't get it to scan against clearasil, medicated chapsticks, ladies sanitary stuff, etc, I believe.

I made a mistake today, added up my BOGOFS to make over £8 and handed over 2 of these coupons, then later realised I could have handed over 4 of them because it was over £16 before BOGOFS, the £8 was the net spend!

Still, it was the girl who scans any coupons and I did get the bill down from £74 (before BOGOFS), to £54 (after BOGOFS) then finally £35 (after my money-off coupons were scanned. Couldn't give her more in case she asked a supervisor for help, she's newish!

Oh my goodness not these vouchers again, i've just filled a suitcase with the last lot. The extra points are handy though.

this is fantastic - i am sooooo excited as my tesco didnt have ANY last time but i managed to get some today and they work fine on bogofs just like last time - can't believe they have done this again so soon:)

coupon - which store did you find yours in & where abouts (i believe you live near me following a search for area in 'local moneysaving')? last time i spent ages scouring both gy & clee to no avail.

Sorry if this has been posted but inside the free tesco mag was a leaflet called LITTLE BOOK OF BEAUTY RECIPES, inside is a £1 off £4 spend on any beauty or toiletries :j
