Will i lose my cashback?

Hello all.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post....it's my first time.
I wondered if anyone could help me with a Quidco question. Last night I completed an online application for home insurance and my policy was accepted. Afterwards, I went into my account and double checked everything was ok. I saw that it had my employment status as "employed" although it hadn't asked me that question directly when I completed the application. I tried to change my status online but it said to ring Aviva direct.
When I rang this morning I was told that "employed" is default and if you are anything else you have to ring the call centre to have it changed. I was told the change would not affect my premium.
However, Aviva are paying £75 cashback at the moment and I'm concerned that the change by telephone will cause me to lose it.
Does anyone have any experience of this? I don't know whether to cancel the policy as, without the cashback, it isn't as competitive as some other quotes I received.
Your help is much appreciated.
