Which cards are MBNA etc

I cnat find anything that gives a list of which cards are MBNA, which are Morgan Stanley etc.

I made such a boob trying for a Virgin card to transfer from A&L that if anyone has a list of who's who it would be welcomed by many.

Now on reading some threads I realise that perhaps I should have transfered to my Barclaycard @ 6.9% then tried for a Virgin card. too late ofcourse but I dont want to make the same mistake again.

add on to that leeds/britania building societies and almost all BS that dont issue thier own cards
