Quartz tiles with underfloor heating?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help. We had planned to use quartz tiles on the floor in one of our bathrooms, however I was about to order today, and saw buried in the Ts and Cs that it says they are not suitable for use with underfloor heating.

We definitely want underfloor heating so this would be a dealbreaker for us. Have googled but can't find any info on this, is there a reason why they could not be used with underfloor heating, and also are they ALL like this?

Bumping, apologies. I've asked a couple of suppliers and they have been unable to give me an answer, which seems rather odd.

I have now found one supplier that says their quartz tiles ARE suitable for underfloor heating. But as all the others say they are not, I am not happy to go ahead unless I can understand the reasoning behind this.

Quite honestly it depends on the supplier/manufacturer.

Get it in writing.

The problem is that nobody has been able to confirm what the issue actually is, so I can't really make an informed decision.
