how long can you park for on a blue badge

someone by us parked all day in a 45 minute waiting bay with a badge. They have done this before isnt it 3 hours only? can you report a car if they park for more than 3 hours?

Is it abuse of a badge?

could be OK to park all day as long as the badge is being used by the holder, you would need to look at the local council's parking regulation's, which council is it.

The three hour limit applies to single or double yellow lines.

It would depend on the relevant Traffic Order at the Council, I believe.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have a look at the local TRO for the site it should tell you all you need to know, not sure how many times you need to ask the same question.

    Yup.

    Different areas have different rules.

In Milton Keynes you can park pretty much anywhere run by the MK centre for as long as you want/need (for example in the parking around the centre, you can use a normal pay and display space without paying and spend all day if needed).

Some areas are very strict and only allow the bare minimum though.
