    Hi, was the deposit equivalent to 2 monthly payments (or 20% of the premium)?
    If it was, then £90 should easily cover the time you were on cover including any cancellation fee if you cancelled after 14 days.

    I would ask for a breakdown of the figure they have come to tht you owe and ask your bank for a replacement card

    Whether you feel that you've paid enough or not isn't the issue. The insurance company have charged you "short period cancellation rates" which they are completely entitled to do. It will form part of the terms and conditions of the insurance itself.

    Unfortunately, live, learn, pay it and move on.
