Stay away from Auto Direct Insurance

Well i decided to change my insurance to auto direct as they gave me the cheapest price of around £335 plus breakdown cover for 12 months, when i took out the insurance i asked the salesman could he take the money on the first of the month even though i had ordered the insurance on the 28th he said he would speak to someone and he came back and said yes that was fine, i said if they couldnt do it i would ring back on the first, he said it wasnt a problem. i paid £89.14 deposit. then the troubles started.

3 days later still no insurance documents.

complained and said just send them through normal post, 3 days later they arrive.
take money out of bank on 28th of month two days early, put me overdrawn, get charged off bank, mortgage company, and my 3 phone bill, i ring telling them that i am not happy and to cancel my insurance immediately if they arent going to sort things out.
they do this and charge me 63.16 for cancelling the policy, i tell them i aint paying it till they sort out what they owe me for taking the money early, 1 month later still not heard from them i have cancelled the direct debit, and then low and behold they have took the 63.16 off my debit card without my permission, i rang them today to see if they are getting any further with my money they owe me and they say it is not there fault and i can go and whistle basically, i said listen to the recorded message of the first time i took out the insurance, and they said even if they did hear what i said and i was right, they couldnt refund me.

htey suck and i will make it my aim in life to tell everyone what a shower of **** they are

total cost for 4weeks insurance cost me 192.18p not bad for a policy that was less than 400 quid for 12 months
