Can anyone help me find Eco Cosmetics Shower Gel?

It's the only shower gel I've found in a long time that doesn't mess my skin up, and my local supplier has stopped carrying it and are no longer offering to order as they once did.
I've googled it, but there don't seem to be many stockists, and postage charges make them exhorbitantly priced. Does anyone know of any Midlands suppliers, or online suppliers with low delivery rates?
In the absence of that, any recommendations for a replacement? I've recently spent a fortune trialing new shampos after I had a similar problem with that, and really don't think my skin (or purse) can take much more hammering trying out new shower gels too.

Do you know what is causing the problem? The most common cause of adverse reactions to bath products is from the perfume or sometimes the colour, so trying something like Simple shower gel or their soap could work. Both contain very different ingredients, but I think the soap bar has the least and is pretty much just soap. Many supermarkets also sell their own version of uncoloured and unperfumed bar soap.0

I haven't yet worked out all the problem ingredients - all the usual suspects and a few unexpected ones I've yet to narrow down. So far though I have yet to find a major brand, even among the sensitive ones like Simple, that doesn't cause problems. It hasn't helped since we moved house last year that the water here is very hard (leaves a brown coating behind if left to evaporate - yuk!), and so I now even have issues with some organic ranges (can't use Green People any more, and only a limited selection of Faith in Nature, for example).
Middle son has similar issues - for years we've used Halos n Horns for him, but lately he's been getting some pretty nasty scalp excema, so I need to review that situation too.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
Hi
Is this the shower gel:

The company charge £5.95 p&p.

Could you get a water softener fitted?
Could you ask your doctor for a skin sensitivity test? A proper NHS test (not some quack test done in a shopping mall) might help you to know what to avoid.0 -
Thanks, but unless I get really desperate, the Amazon seller is too expensive for me (usually pay around £7 a tube).
Can't fit a softener as we rent and the LL doesn't seem to want us to do anything here.
I've been to the docs times over the years - only ever get fobbed off with blah comments (once got told to wash my hair in fairy liquid when my scalp was flaking in great chunks - ouch!) - never been offered any tests.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
You could try these people - they don't list your shower gel but there are Eco cosmetics baby products on their online list and I believe you can request them to get stuff in (not tried it myself). I haven't used the Northampton branch or their online shop, but I have been to the Cambridge branch (it's quite small - they don't have all the products they list online at Cambridge).

Thank you - they look like they have a good range, so I may find a replacement if nothing else - should be over that way in a week or so, so will pop my head inDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0

Wikaniko do a variety of natural shampoos , i sell it locally , there may be a distributor in your area or you can order online through our websites. I have had an awful scalp for several years and it always get worse when i use hair dyes so i'm experimenting with one from my brochure now, my scalp has really settled since i used the aloe vera shampoo, even my daughter commented the other day that my scalp didn't look red and inflamed like it normally does, so fingers crossed with an ecofriendly hair dye with only a small amount of nasties in it my scalp will remain settled. Guess time will tell.We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0
