new cars with insurance included in the package?

  • There is the Peugeot "Just add fuel" package http://www.peugeot.co.uk/showroom/latest-offers/just-add-fuel/ but the minimum age is 21 for most cars and 30 for some models.

I've done the maths and if you are a poor risk insurance wise it could be ok but not if you are a decent risk as their internal rates are too high.

Thank you that does look interesting, on eof my sons is 21 and to add him to my car was an extra £1200 pa, yet he is on a carhe shares with his brother and the total payable is £700, so this seems quite an attractive deal to get a new car where to add him would not cost the earth.

Yes, with high insurances and a sensible car, the numbers can be in your favour.

I had the free insurance on a Saxo VTR in 2001 and you had to be 21 at the time there was also a big excess £500 plus young driver loading, 4 drivers were allowed on the policy.

I think it would be more cost effective to get the best deal on the car you want and not be taken in by sales tricks like free insurance.
  • But insurance fora young person could be £2500 a year. Over 3 years, even with some no claims accrual, that is going to be £5000 or so.

Ive not seen any free insurance deals around either, if they do occur they may have a stipulation that requires the insuree to be over a certain age eg 21
