I was going to suggest opening a basic bank account too, you are in control of it more then. You need to separate your income and your bills from your O/D.
However, i don't think you can really afford to live there based upon your income. Your mortgage and/or rent should not really come to more than 1/3rd of your monthly income, whereas yours is more than 1/2.
Make sure there is nothing missing from that SOA as your seem to have money left over at the end of the month. If your SOA is correct, maybe keep a spending diary to see where your money goes.
If you intend to stay there, I think more income is required realistically. You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0 -
No leaving your wages paid into an account with a large overdraft when you are in difficulties is a mistake. They will take the money you need to live on and no mercy will be shown.
As soon as they hear you are starting a DMP, silent cogs will start to turn and before you know it, a months wages will be swallowed whole into the corporate black hole and you will be left to post angry threads on here, you still won't get it back though.
Move your account and wages."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
Your living expenses are too high for your income, and you haven't included council tax, gas, electricity or water. If you want to stay put then you have to increase your income. Second job in a bar or stacking supermarket shelves? Can you have a lodger? Even if you have a one bedroomed flat this is do-able. A friend of mine used her reception room as her bedroom and let her bedroom sharing the kitchen and bathroom. Not ideal but allowed her to get out of a hole and it doesn't have to be for ever.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420
