Can I use post bankruptcy letter to creditors for file cleanup after DRO?

A couple of people very helpfully gave me a link to the file cleanup thread. The problem I am having is that I need to write to two creditors who are still showing as owing rather than settled but I don't know what to write, can I use the same letter that is in the file cleanup thread even though it is more to do with bankruptcy? Also, how do I go about disassociation from my husband financially? We are separating so I don't want to be linked.
