Have our CCCS interview on 3rd October. Just wanted to ask if we need to be doing anything in the meantime. All repayments are up to date etc so not defaulted yet. Also should we be going for the M&S card to do some BTs?

If you haven't defaulted on any payments yet can I ask why you are going to the CCCS? Do you struggle each month or have changing circumstances that would mean you couldn't pay?
The only reason I ask is because should you start something like a debt management plan it's very possible that you will be paying your debts back for longer.
Have you posted a SOA before (see this thread for a guide). We might be able to help you make some cutbacks if needed.0 -

Original thread above. Have managed to keep everything going til now by using credit but have got the stage where we can't any longer and it really can't go on.
Not really sure what is best way forward-DMP, IVA.
And yes I have told OH. Really was the scariest thing I've ever had to do but he has been great after the initial hurt, anger etc.

OK then. What you would really hope for on a DMP is that all your creditors would stop interest so I'm not sure whether applying for the M&S card would be beneficial!
Did they advise you only to make token payments in the mean time or anything?
You could try PM'ing Wondergirl and asking her advice as she works for the CCCS, however it's only her individual opinion and not that of the CCCS.0
