ESTA Help!!

We've made a monumental mistake by ordering a passport for my wife to be under her new married name and when it arrived we noticed that it had a post dated issue date. When trying to complete the ESTA for entry into usa we noticed that we could not do this until after the 13th, the day we get married. Problem is we are flying on the 15th and I don't want to leave it to chance that she gets an ESTA.
Is there any other way I can get confirmation that she can travel before this date? We didn't book the honeymoon until after we ordered the passport.
Is there a number or e-mail address I can contact regarding this?
Thanks for any advice in advance!

The ESTA is the only confirmation that exists - other than getting a proper visa, which will also have its time problems.0

your esta applicationl is almost instantly approved ( if you qualify) you still need to fill the cards out on the plane0

You are supposed to apply for an ESTA up to 72 hours before departure. However I believe they accept applications after this as I've read that people who have turned up at the airport without one have been sent to an internet terminal to apply.
You can apply the day after the wedding, just don't forget.
Also, make sure you use the official site which is free and not one of the ones that charge https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/
This is what the ESTA site says about post-dated passports:-
