Car insurance and parking

Hi,

We have an single drive, and who ever gets home first me or the wife gets to park there drive on the drive. The other is parked on the road.

So what do i tell the insurance company, and if either car was damaged what would there reaction be?

Declare both as parked on the road, or always park one on the drive and declare that as the drive kept car.

You should say both parked on the road as that is the more risky scenario.
You can't say drive unless you park there as a matter of habit.
50% is not sufficient.

If you lied then they should charge you the extra premium but they could be difficult and try to wriggle out of paying your claim.

They could cancel your insurance and then you have to declare you've had insurance cancelled for the rest of your lives and that will give you increased premiums ot trouble getting insurance at all because you deliberately lied.

Don't do it.
