Transaction not showing up after 2 weeks?

in Credit cards
Bought some cigarettes in palma nova, spain on 14 July. Put it on a Nationwide CC with no commission. They charged in sterling without asking me, so I asked them to refund it and charge in euros as I would get a better rate through the credit card company, and they did.
So they put a sterling charge through, then a refund, then a euro charge. none of this has shown up on my CC account yet. I used my card at home last thurs and that transaction has appeared, so its not a problem with the CC company ( I assume?).
How long do I have to wait for it show up - dont want that hanging over my head, its almost £200.
Rang customer services, but because I rarely use the card I couldnt answer the security questions, so they wouldnt access the account for me.
Asked the password - I have no idea, too many accounts, too many different passwords, and they "dont do reminders", so how am I ever going to get in?
Was asked another security question, how are the bills paid, I said I dont know if there is a direct debit set up or not, I dont use the account that often. So they wouldnt let me in or offer any other security questions!

I paid for some petrol on my debit card a couple of weeks ago and it took a full week for the money to come out of my account, in fact i put more fuel in my car a couple of days later and that charge came out before the first one. Really odd with it being a debit card.
Sometimes there are just delays caused by a number of reasons. It could just be because it was a foreign transaction and it might take a little longer to show. You could be lucky, the payment might be lost in the ether. Might be worth making sure the funds are available for a while just in case though. Try calling your credit card company again or going into a branch if it is issued by a bank and explain that you have forgotten the security information, they may be able to do something regarding that.0 -
Keep the money handy for the next 6 years just in case.
If it still has not appeared you can smoke yourself to death LOL0 -
I am a little concerned that you don't know how your bills are paid when you have used the card recently. Are you planning on waiting for a collections letter telling you you've been charged before you do something about it?Getting married 02.08.14

Thanks for your concern, but obviously when I receive my bill it will say on it if the payment will be taken by direct debit, otherwise I will make a payment :doh:0
