    Photostudio, ultimate choice.

You havent given a link and I found two different ones. Are you recommending this freeware from stuffware

    http://www.stuffware.co.uk/photostudio/

    or Photostudio 5.5 from Arcsoft

    http://www.arcsoft.com/products/photostudio/
  • Here's another one. It's very cheap and does all of things that you want but no more. It's VERY easy to use too. The designer markets it as an eBay picture editor but it's much more than that. I use it all the time.

But obviously some posters have not read the original post and have been recommended programs that are incapable of adding text etc. which was a requirement. The GIMP is not an easy program but it is very capable and it is free!

Although it isn't free, Paintshop Pro is fantastic and I use it for all my graphically needs. The current version is about £40-50 I think? (haven't checked lately) but you can pick up an older version for under a tenner at amazon, which will do everything you need.

Paintshop Pro XI has just been released - about £80, but as said, earlier versions are available cheaper.

I have Paint shop pro 7 and photoshop 7, but paint shop pro is a lot easier to use, and you can get a new sealed version on ebay for £10. Also Paint shop pro 8.1 new sealed is now on ebay for under £14 including delivery. There are lots of free tutorials it you search on google. Good luck with what ever you choose.
