Have some little bugs (black) on my green beans-will they kill it, will they still be safe to use, what can I use to get rid? Its the first time I have grown them and need some advice.

Sounds like blackfly, have a Google for it & see if it same as you have
If it is then they will weaken the plant, but not enoiugh to kill it, and possibly make the leaves a bit sticky, but the beans will be perfectly safe to eat after a wash
If you just leave them the ladybirds will soon arrive and help you out by eating them, loads of ladybirds this year luckilyWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0 -
try diluted washing up liquid in a spray bottle.. but the beans will be fine#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I found a recipe for soap spry on a site after much searching. it had washing up liquid, veg oil and water. can't remember the quantities, sorry, but i sprayed my beans and artichokes and the blackflies died off easily enough.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
