Anyone had any experince of this lot?

Had a ticket come through the post for a car i sold. Its for a time when I owned it and i was indeed parked in the carpark but they claim I was in a disabled bay which I wasn't? I paid every day to park there all day. Didn't get a ticket on the car.

I filled in the bit stating I no longer own the car which was ignored and another standard letter saying you havent paid £100.

Another letter came the other day and its had national car parks on the franking i didnt open just put no longer at this address return to sender. since I dont own the car anymore.

Anyone had expereince of this lot! Will they give up or are they tough

Was this in a private or council car-park?

    Then just ignore.

NCP are well known on here, especially in regard to parking near railway stations where they wrongly quote Railway Bylaws to try and get people to pay. They never do court, because they know they would lose.

    Great thanks.
I saw the thread with the letters in afterwards and they seem to work on the threat of action when enforcing private tickets.

If its a council one I deal with it!1

But still don't pay without checking everything first. Just don't run out of time.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
