My politics teacher mentioned that previous students have been able to get discounts on daily newspapers, can anyone help me out on this?
I can't find it anywhere on the net.
I think it may just be available to politics students, as they need to keep up with the news.

I believe you can get The Times for 20p from campus shops, or elsewhere with vouchers you can get from the timesonline site.

Plus you might find certain departments do deals. i.e. Accounting & Finance do the Financial Times for 20p.
Usually you will also find that there is also student subscriptions for certain magazines/newspapers. i.e. I subscribe to The Economist who do a student rate.0 -
you can get a student subscription on most non-tabloid papers, and all campus shops do a mon-friday student price.0

Anyone know which retailers accept these vouchers? co-op? Asda? etc.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

All shops I have been too take the vouchers(all supermarkets, small newsagents etc) but I tend to buy from the campus shop when I am at uni.0

also if your uni is having freshers fairs etc, there are usually newspaper people handing out stacks of those vouchers as well as assorted things like times bottle openers!0
