Very unlikely I would have thought - this is no more than an idea. Maybe if you got something up and running to demonstrate that it is viable an investor could be interested but people are wary particularly if they got their fingers burnt in the dot com bubble.0

NO chance, unless you prove it makes money over time.Kind Regards

My advice would be to clear your long term debts first OP then use a small amount of savings combined with an overdraft or credit card to start the business off...obviously aim to have a rapid turn around of stock so you don't notch up interest charges.
Use the time now to do a test on Ebay to see how much demand there is.
What do you intend to sell OP? Could you not start off at the low end of the market, perhaps with £1,000 worth of stock and work your way up?
Anyway to answer your original question directly: you'll need to put in about 1/3 of the capital yourself, the bank will want security (e.g. a house) and you'll need a viable business plan, the best way to demonstrate viability is to do a pilot project.0
