Solved FYI.
I rang off my mobile and it seemed to work, but my house phone still says the number is busy, weird.
Although when I got through, I was advised that their computer systems were down. Dammit!0 -
took me a couple of hours to get thru but I did eventually.. they were "updating their system" tho so not able to help with anything specific☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Son rang yesterday and on hold for over an hour, rang again today and eventually got through after holding for 15 minutes.
Unfortunately we are part of the pilot scheme and therefore no paperwork being dealt with by Local Authority which is an absolute nightmare.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

My daughters LEA are dreadful to get hold of. What happens if she needs to ring them when she actually gets to uni. Hanging on for anything up to half an hour is not an option on a mobile. Will she be able to ring from a land line in the student finance office?
Alos her LEA said is would take up to 10 weeks to process her application. is this normal?
