NSD AUGUST 6/8 :j0 -
Number 3 for me today :j :j
Was feeling a little sorry for myself as i decided not to go on the works night out & everyone else was going but then thought about it & realised that although they are nice people, none of them are my friends & it was a little of the old me who wanted to keep up with others that was making me unhappy. I've had a yummy plate of pasta & am now all set with the toolbox to do a little more on the kitchen & feel perfectly happy again. Think i just have to remind myself of who i really am at times!! (Much happier up an alley with my cider :rotfl: :rotfl:)
Spoon, anything goes bagwise in the kitchen bin, the bin bags are to finally clear up the DIY rubble that i have been playing obstacle courses with for the last couple of weeks, due to the fact that i keep forgetting the bags!!!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Evening all
NSD number 4 is all mine and I'm so pleased. I've tried a few of the challenges on the boards but this one really works for me because I seem to find new levels of determination hitherto undisturbedwhen I'm plotting a NSD!
The weekend can sometimes be my downfall but I'm planning to have Sunday as another NSD so fingers crossed.
Bye for now - have a nice evening :hello:DFW Nerd Club # 13640 -
Another NSD lost to Whoopsies
As soon as I got into work I spotted a load of one item in reductions, and a price that had me itching to carry them all off to the till there and then. Spent the afternoon watching the quantity dwindle, while trying to talk myself out of them.
As I clocked out I caved - and have come home with 10 packs of 2 part baked baguettes, which were reduced from 39p to 9p a pack !!!
Was spotted by a chap who often does reductions in that section (pre-packed, so not bakery domain) as I headed for the till, and he asked if there were any left - and cheered when I said I'd cleared the shelf, having expected there to be none left for me by clock-off time. Apparently there were 32 packs when he did the reduction.......
So Sunday I'll be resorting the freezers and seeing how many I can get in there, though I'm sure they'll last a week or so without freezing anyway
Off to have tea and then disappear to OHs (hence no freezer work tonight), but will be home some time tomorrow - hopefully no later than 7:30pm, so will try and catch up with you in BDINIs back alleyCheryl0 -
Another one for me yesterday which brings my total to 3! Have a good weekend everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Ok so to-day was definitely a spendy, running around pulling in some shopping. Dearest OH has cooked dinner cos I am all tuckered out and is taking me on a wee day out tomorrow afternoon, a little lunch (with MSE vouchers), a wee drink, and some live music and then home to catch up in the back alley!!! what a day!
Cunning plan is that he's taking me and therefore he will pay, back alley is free so a NSD for me and I'm a poet and don't know it!!!More than Two Years in
Doing it the Niddy way:j:j:j0 -
Well I did it! Another NSD in the bag today and possibly one to come tomorrow as well.
Chavbash news.....
I am at work tomorrow so keep the cider flowing, the music playing and don't start any fights till I get there (about ten-ish, just as things will be starting to warm up). Am planning to get my gear on and cover it all with a huge mac and floppy hat so as no-one will pick on me whilst I am travelling. Will be taking the express train from Nargleland, changing at Looneytoonsville, due to arrive at Bdini's at 2158 hrs. Then I will shed my dirty old man mac, hat and thigh length wellies, slip on the 9 inch stillettos, grab some cider and PARTY!!!!!One life - your life - live it!0 -
