WHOOO! Well its the end of my first NSD month challenge and I've managed to squeeze in one more today to bring my total up to 13!!! :j:j:j

Am quite chuffed considering I set 8 as my target. Did buy some ice cream for OH today (he's got a bad throat) but that came from the change pot not my budget.

Not sure whether it has saved me any pennies this month but it has made me think more about when/where I am spending my cash and helped stop me buying those annoying things that add up at lunchtime (one of the dangers of working in the town centre) ... been great meeting everyone this month - lots of ups, a few downs and some crazy antics in the tardis...see you all in Sept

Managed to squeeze in a nice little 16th NSD today, taking me over target. Panda is quite happy in the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] garden with the rabbit and guinea pigs :)

See you all in September!! Well done to everyone, every single NSD is an achievement, even if you didn't meet target xx

Final 2 D/Debits did go out this morning, so allowed myself one last Whoopsie Swoop for the month tonight - £7.80 spent on goods worth £19.18
Best individual bargain (bought to try as I've never had anything like them before) was a £2.99 pack of 8 Smoked Salmon Mini Terrines for just 39p
More shoe-horning into the freezer was done earlier (3 of the 4 breaded cod fillets I got on my way out work - had the 4th for tea), and more to go (another 4 packs of Le Roule cheese and another 10 jam doughnuts - possibly more bread to go as well, unless I can eat an entire 'eat smart' loaf in the next couple of days)

Final August NSD count is 19 - as declared yesterday :)

  • Hi Spoon & Everyone,

Didn't make my target:( Still 6/8 isn't that bad, even having 6 NSD's is good for me. I'll have to get it sorted properly next month:o
I must stop procrastinating, I must stop procrastinating! promise I'll stop tomorrow OK:D

    NSD AUGUST 6/8 :j
  • Well even tho I've been absent most of the month I have still managed another 2 NSDs so that takes me up to my target, woo hoo!!!!!!!!!! The only reason I got my 8th was because I was off work today, I didn't even know what the date was, I was going to rock on over to the september thread and declare my first.

I have no idea what the reward is but please spoon can I have my little animated 'thing' and I will check it out.

thank you for running this, its the first challenge that has help me save money.
