Not surprised you're tired today, tbh, Cheryl and think it's wise to miss tonight's run (if you did that), you need to rest when you first start otherwise you can damage your knees and other joints. You're doing really well:T
I did skip running club tonight. Was easing up by work-time, and felt better after shift end, but decided it was best to give it a miss.

Hoping to get out tomorrow morning - if it doesn't rain overnight I'm thinking of doing the off-road one...... but minus the dog.
Ahh, thanks, but I'm not counting direct debits, so not a fair comparison really. I think you're doing brilliantly this month - well done:j
But none of my spend days have been Direct Debit only - I always top-up with groceries on those days as well.......

Wooo, count me for 6/8- for real this time (never did go to the Spar in the end).
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

tut tut !!!! NOT a fail - NEVER a fail

You just haven't quite managed as many as you'd have liked :)

    Well said, Cheryl:T:T

Broken hearted, you have done very well getting your 8 NSDs, that is something to be vey proud of and, by what you say above, you could get to 10 so that's even better:T:T

We don't ever fail on this challenge. You might not quite make the number you intended at the beginning of the month, but you have achieved a number of NSDs and you should be proud of them.:A

    Well done

Increase your guest list to include us NSDers (along with Hubert and the aliens), and it will all go swimmingly :D

It'd certainly be a talking point for your other guests for years to come :rotfl:

    Now that could be interesting:rotfl::rotfl:

Definitely best to give it a miss, you don't want to ruin your knees.

Good luck for tomorrow morning, leaving the dog behind is probably a wise move.

LfV: glad DD had a good holiday and DH is happy she’s back. Hope the grocery shopping wasn’t too painful.
Loving today’s lyrics, big Motorhead fan, and very appropriate for a lot of us:T
BL: only 2 more to get, you can do it:)
Nargle: oh dear to massive spendy day today, wouldn’t advise eating the cat food unless you want a shiny, glossy coat and the ability to lick your own bum:rotfl::rotfl:
cw18: wow.... those were some whoopsies today, and well done for getting half of the year to date as NSDs, that’s a great achievement:T
kerri gt: oh dear, poor Daisy:(, hope she isn’t in too much trouble for the whoopsie.
Small spendy day is OK, some good bargains there, I think, and much cheaper petrol as well. Fingers crossed for another couple of NSDs for you, but you have done very well this month so far:T

Still on no 19 here, grocery shop today but I managed to stick to my list, so pat on the back for spoony:T.... Should be no 20 and my target tomorrow.

Off to do the usual update now, see you all tomorrow.

    Good morning all!
I thought I was going to manage a NSD yesterday, but I forgot about the Ringtons man coming, so LSD! It's going to be a close call this month!;)
Didnt but anything else though, got on with the knitting, slow but sure. I've not used mohair before, its lovely but its like knitting with a cobweb!
Today will be a spend. Need a grocery shop, but Im changing my allegience from A$d4 and Im going to Te$c0 instead. They sent me vouchers for £10 off a £30 shop for the next 4 weeks, so I may as well use them! Plus, not only did they send me vouchers, they also sent some for the people who used to live here before me. I'm going to use them towards buying the whisky I usally get for FIL and BIL for Xmas.Every Little Helps, as they say............!
Later Im going to the Book Festival in town, really looking forward to that!
Congrats to Mrs Invisible - well done paying off your loan:beer:

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

    Morning all :hello:

Fell asleep last night before i could report (the perils of too much ceiling painting!!), but it was number 12 for me :j

Am still accepting that i shouldn't be mad with myself if i don't make it, as all the extra spends have been DIY related, i've still only done one grocery shop per week (my problem before starting this challenge was that i would spend on foody bits almost every day) & sometimes i've had do the DIY bits over 2 days because the stuff's been so heavy (& i don't have a car so have to lug it all on the bus )

So i've decided that if i only buy the wallpaper & paste tonight then i will count it as a NSD as it's out of the decorating fund anyway & then as long as there's no treats over the weekend i might just scrape the panda.... do you reckon thats ok or is it cheating?

HUGE WELL DONE MRS I FOR GETTING DEBT FREE, FANTASTIC NEWS!!!!!
