Anyone had a price match on goods reduced prior to delivery?

I ordered my sofa from Furniture Village on 6th June, have paid only a deposit so far. They rang today to arrange delivery for next saturday. But in today's paper I see they have a new sale on and it is £100 less.
I just wondered whether anyone else has been in the same position and managed to get it at the new price?

Update, for information...
I went in and asked them to match their new price and they did it straightaway, no problem! Very pleased. All now paid for, delivery due tomorrow
