Not got the patience to do it as a business - although I have two friends who do exactly that (one in Gloucester and one in London).

Well done you - you should have a word with Horace too - she is always looking for decent suppliers for her events.
    Who's Horace?

Horace is one of the regular posters on this forum - she is an event and wedding planner in the West Midlands.

Here are the templates for anyone that would like one... http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb268/Socialchemistry/template.jpg

I've done two different styles, one which can just be wrapped around a cocktail stick and the other (which I used) can be printed on sticker paper & just the very end unpeeled to wrap over. If anyone wants the text changing etc just let me know & I'll send you your own version.

As for the recipe, it's just a plain vanilla cake, at the moment I'm using Dan Lepard's recipe taken from (http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/jan/08/cupcake-recipe) as I find a lot of vanilla cupcakes too dense - these ones turned out nice & fluffy and rose a LOT. The vanilla buttercream recipe I use is the Primrose bakery one (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-1257196/Go-spoil-Mothers-Day-vanilla-cupcake-recipe.html) - it's got a hell of a lot of icing sugar in it but then again I have a hell of a sweet tooth!

Apart from that all I tend to do is mix mini marshmellows in with the buttercream (really mini ones, smaller than the ones you put in hot chocolate - they sell them in Asda) and scoop out a hole in the cupcakes themselves which I fill with melted marshmallow. The best tip for doing this is to make sure you wet your hands inbetween putting in each marshmallow - this way they stick to the cake & not to you! The pink sprinkles on top I got from Morrisons, but I think most supermarkets have them :)
