                    Hi,
New post so hello all...
I applied for a Barclaycard (through Littlewoods as I have an account with them) and received a "Provisional Acceptance" letter requesting ID.
I have sent the requested ID to them; does this mean I will definitely be accepted (or have been already) after they check the documents?
Just want to know so I don't have to apply anywhere else and you all seem so knowledgeable!
Thanks in advance,
MF

yes they will of already done a credit check on you, the ID is the last process of your application, ( most cc etc ask for this now)
well done! ( even though the apr is quite high on those cards) spend wisely xxx0

Well a month ago I applied for LLoyds TSB card, first they requested ID, then sent a credit agreement to be signed and on that letter they said when they got the agreement back they would THEN do a credit check. Still waiting the outcome.
Seems a back to front way of doing it! But maybe that's just LLoyds and Barclaycard are more logical.0

Thanks for your replies; I'll hold off from applying for anything else until I've received the reply from BC.0
