Hey guys thanks for reading,
I have just dropped out of University and am starting my new job in security on Monday 18th. I have a Natwest Student account and am currently £1400 Over Drawn. I was wondering if you think I should move my account or keep it with Natwest til I pay it off.
I think Natwest still think I am a student for this year so is this naughty of me or is it the Banks fault for not checking with my university?
Any advice much appreciated.

banks don't check with your university - you supply course details at the beginning
just make sure you are able to pay it off. and sometimes the condition is to have your student loan paid into there. now that you won't receive one they may take the overdraft away0 -
But you would have to make a declaration, with a new bank
if you do not tell them ,but with Nat West no problem, they believe what they believe.Stay with Nat West.because when the account was opened that was your intention,if we change jobs ,we do not inform our bank. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0 -
cheers guys. Should be able to pay it off after 2 weeks of work.0

As long as there is money regularly going in banks tend not to fuss about from where it comes.regularsaver1 wrote:sometimes the condition is to have your student loan paid into there. now that you won't receive one they may take the overdraft awayGod save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0 -
Yeah your right - its more about affordability for them to assess - so as long as you pay money in from a source0
