its pay day and I still have money left!!

I am so glad I found this site! Although I admit I am realy good with money (my husband says stingy!) very recently we are having to find a large amount of money so I have gone into saver mode! Thanks to various things I have done its pay day friday and I still have a fair amount of money left which will go towards my taxman fund! I think the main area I saved is going out at lunchtime. Before I would go out and not really think of buying something here and there and over the month I can end up with a new skirt here, a pair of trousers there, the odd (!) pair of shoes none of which I actually NEEDED! Now I just confine myself to the library or the park and I am sure this is where my main savings have been. we are eating better (not so much junk) and have scoured the hedgerows for various things! if this continues we shall hopefully be able to meet our big bill without having to seriously get rid of anything! thanks
