Returning mail order goods

I seem to recall that when returning mail order stuff (clothes) that are ok but not suitable (too big, not as nice) that they should also refund my original postage. Didn't have to pay to return goods though. Any advice?

Yes under the distance selling regulations as long as you inform them within 7 days you wish to return they have to refund your full original payment including original postage.0

However, if it's mentioned in their T&Cs then either you must pay the return postage cost or they can provide and charge you for it.0

From their T&C's:
you must notify us in writing within the statutory period and immediately return the items that you do not wish to keep to us at your cost (unless the goods were substitute goods which we selected for you). You must take reasonable care of the goods. If you cancel within the statutory period you may claim a refund of any sum you have paid concerning the goods, less any charges we may make for collecting the goods if you do not return them at your own cost. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
