Parking Ticket

I have received a letter in the post this morning and thought I would check whether it is enforceable. It is not the same as the sample letters on here but would still like to ignore it if possible.
The letter is from Euro car parks on behalf of Morrisons in Northampton and is because I went over the 3 hour parking by17 minutes. I have a good reason but I dont want to compromise the situation by appealing, if ignoring will do.
The letter has the time I went in and out and at the bottom it has my registration no, once with a white background and once with black. Letter states they use a camera to capture vehicles entering and leaving the car park.
I have photographed the letter with details covered up but can't see how to attach it.

Thanks for any help

Ekky

Never use these two expressions in the same sentence.

Don't bother posting a copy of the letter, if we wanted to see toilet paper, we know where to look.

Standard advice as per squillions of other threads ... IGNORE. Euro won't go near a court.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Ok Thanks, I only tried to post copy as the "sticky" said copies of letters would be helpfull if they were different from what was already on there

Euro wont risk taking anyone to court, they have been there before and got spanked by the judge :rotfl:, you will get several letters though all of which can be ignored.

Actually, it would be useful to see a different Euro Car Parks letter to add to the ECP examples on the sticky. It would be very useful for newbies to see, thanks. :)

I think if you read the 'how to post images' sticky it should become clear but you'd need to post it as a reply on the 'PPC letters/threats, what to expect' thread itself, not on here (or pm the link to Crabman and he can hopefully find time to add it to that sticky).

My PPC ticket that got me onto this board was last year and it was from ...Euro Car Parks. :D

Nothing happens, just Control Account letters as shown and then nothing, they play a percentages game and just collect money from those victims who fall for their scam. Ignore them and that's it, honestly, take it from me.

P.S. @ muckybutt, AFAIK, ECP have never done Court - was it a long time ago?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
