Hello to everyone else I've missed, I love you all.

I've been for a two mile walk this morning and will probably go for another walk this afternoon. Good for clearing the brain cells for studying.

I've got some stuff to put on ebay, it's surprising what gems you canf ind in the spare bedroom.

This sounds like just the sort of thing I need to be cooking when I'm a student (in approximately 6 weeks - gulp!)

Just had a letter from the career development loan people saying they need original bank statement not printouts. I now run a paperless account!!! Will have to ring them on Monday and then go into the bank. I just want to scream - just send me the bloody money.

Sal if they have a customer facing or sales bit make sure you do your complaining there loudly. They can't stand that. They'll have you wheeled off to a side room and sorted very quickly.

Oh Sal - that would be cute! Great price too!

Butti - I brown 2 chicken breasts that have been chopped up along with 2 onions, 2 apples cut into chunks, a hand full of dried apricots cut up, big hand full of sultanas, a couple of carrots sliced and then some chickpeas (I cook them in bulk and freeze in portions)....add some cumin, chilli powder and fresh corriander from the garden and shove in the SC with 2 tins of 8p sauce - on low for about 3/4 hours.

Will have it with brown rice. Will serve the 4 of us tonight (DD's eat as much as us) and there will be enough left for another 2 big portions for the freezer (or enough to go over jacket spud for the 4 of us). If I don't have any chickpeas I often add a couple of sliced potatoes to bulk it out a bit - sometimes caulifower too - just depends what needs using up.
