Child under 5

Just a quick question.

My daughte is 4 an so gets free trqvel on busses an trains. However although she is 4 she is the hight of a 5-6 year old. How can i prove shes only 4??

Its never been a real problem on the local buses but she will soon be going to reception an having to wear a uniform which will no doubt give the impression of her age being 5-6. Also im looking at going to london on the train and would rather not spen on a ticket for her too??

Yep up to their 5th birthday then half fare(with a bus pass), Our local operator (Nexus) does a all day ticket for £1 and that saves us a lot of money.

Under 5's have always had free travel - well, 35 years ago when I was that age I did. In London under 16s get free bus travel.
