Advice on car insurance renewal please

Last year I insured my car with Swiftcover after doing the normal "shoparound".
During the insurance year I bought a second car. Swiftcover replicated my No Claims Discount for the second car.
I have now received my quote for this year on the first car and it seems to have increased significantly.
Could someone advise please - do I have to stay with Swiftcover for my first car to keep the NCD on the second car?
My first car is a 3.2 Audi TT Roadster so I normally need to do a lot of comparing!!
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

2 reasons it's gone up.
Insurance has gone up across the board.
You've lost the new customer discount.
You need to shop around bearing in mind that you want the NCD replicated.
Have you tried a traditional high st broker?0 -
Thanks lisyloo.
Since i've already insured the 2nd car for the year and paid in advance, do you know whether will they try and charge me more for this car if I do not reinsure the first car with them?
If not, i'll definitely shop around. If they do, it will probably be worth re-insuring with them, even at the increased cost.
Any assistance gratefully received .....0
