sky broadband. . Cam i use own router?

my sky router broke last nite rang sky they want £28 for a new one . .i have a netgear router will i be able to use that instead ?

Sky do not allow their customers to use their own routers, but if you can get your uername & password details from them somehow then it is possible to use 3rd party hardware.

I seem to remember from previous posts that using another modem/router breaks their T&C
Try Ebay. Usually loads of Sky Modems/Routers for sale. For example :-

Just make sure you get the an ADSL/Modem for phone line or a Router if you are on cable.
