Freeview PVR issue

Am I able to return a Freeview PVR?

The issue surrounds NOT being able to edit future EPG timers to add some minutes either side.

It is useless using the EPG as I am often missing the last moments of tv recordings. The technical help-line blames the broadcaster for not sending the current broadcast start/stop times correctly. You can only edit the Parental settings - bit silly!!

My old PVR has the same remote, different brand BUT you can alter the times.

It was £80 in Argos June sale. I added £20 insurance too.

The instructions say you can edit the timers but you only get an arrow to amend in the parental section.

I am annoyed because I like the twin tuners, picture in picture etc. You are often buying blind as the spec is absent and model number not listed to be able to dig deeper.

It has frozen a couple of times where the time on the box was in the past to the current time and no recordings made, BUT my old box did that too.

    When exactly did you buy?

It would have been wise to check out such things straight away so that it could be returned promptly.

It's now potentially nearly two months later, thus they probably consider you'd accepted the goods and were happy with their performance. Up to the retailer I guess, have you asked? Legally, I seriously doubt it, sorry.
