I was running a trial version of Office 2007 but have now bought the full Office 2010.
My question is can I just put the CD in and it will upgrade from the trial version as I have email in Outlook I don't want to lose.
Thanks:o

I would un-install the trial version to be on the safe side. You should not lose anything as program and data are stored on different locations.
Do you make backups regularly? If not then it's a good time to start with it...0 -

I'll certainly do a backup and will I then be able to reinsert the emails to the new version of Outlook?0 -

I was asking in case something goes wrong. All settings and emails are stored in your user profile and should not be touched by uninstalling the old version. When installing the new version it should use this data automatically.0 -

You should be able to take a copy of your pst - can not remember how, but do a search in Outlook for "backup pst"

All successfully sorted with respect to Outlook but one of the reasons I shelled out for the new 2010 office was i wanted to be able to use the Invoice pro forma in Excel but I CAN'T FIND IT!!
Help.
Where is it?
It was easy to find and use in Office 2000 and I am sure it is under my nose somewhere?
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Apart from this I just love the appearance of the 2010 suite.0 -

Seem to be loads here Flossy:

As far as I can tell they are free if you accept the MS conditions.
If you go to the templates directory on that site you can choose by category - one of which is Invoices.0 -
For all those interested if you have recently purchased Office 2007 you are entitled to a free upgrade to Office 2010

Hi see a lot of talk about office 2007, I am still on 2003 version but have been thinking about downloading openoffice.org has anyone downloaded/used it ? if I were to download it could I still keep the office 2003 running until I am confident openoffice works ok with all the documents I already have.
any advice/opinions appreciated0 -

I have used openoffice, but to be honest prefer Office 2007. But I didn't find any real issues when opening Offcie 2007 docs in openoffice.
