Missy Moo's got a bit lost but with copious cups of tea, I'm finally finding my way!

well right this weekends events:

Well i wrote out my list as per MG's thread, and then things started happening!!:eek:

Now I have always always wanted a VW Beetle an old one..... andI have a look every now and then..... I just happened to see one for sale on friday:o, not too far from where I live.... and it was cheap and sound, which is unheard of.....so... yep you guessed it I just had to go and have a look at it, and then I might have left a deposit and be picking her up on saturday:o.

Now this isn't on a whim I have been searching on and off for one for years, and had more or less given up hope of ever being able to actually afford one, so I am over the moon and a little bit scared that I have finally found one. Now as you can imagine it has hugely bu**ered up my budget and I cant pay off my loan as soon as I wanted, which I really didn't want to happen but when something like this comes along sometimes you just have to grab opportunity with both hands. So am going to have to have a little look at my budget to see what I can do about it. So my gorgeous white beetle (who's called Lilly by the way) will be being picked up at the weekend... can you tell I am super excited?!:j:T

And cupcakes:D, well, I made some cupcakes for my wedding party back in May, and at the weekend, my brother asked me if I would be able to make some for his sister in law to see/taste as she might want them for her wedding.... which i was really pleased about, then I get a phone call from my friend who has a new shop opening, and asked me if I could do a 100 cupcakes by friday!:eek::D:j Which to be honest is amazing!! I'm so chuffed. I mean I thought my cakes were lovely, as I would I'm biased aren't I:D and they did take me a long time, but I didn't expect people to want to pay good money for them, I secretly hoped though.....:A

And the store cupboard challenge is still on, but I had to go to tesco to buy cupcake ingredients and then bought some more store cupboard stuff as I had £10 off a £30 spend which I couldnt sniff at, but I am only eating up the stuff that was already there IYSWIM

So I'm hoping with all my ebaying stuff and cake making stuff I can recoup some money back!!:o


So if all a bit squ-iff all is so very happy in the land of missy.

congrats on the car. i also love vw, but i prefer the golfs. and congrats on the cupcakes. i would love for people to pay me to bake.
All seems to be going well for you, but dont be downheartened about not paying off your loan. theres always next month lol.

Hello lovelies, thank you so much for all your lovely thoughts and wishes. I feel like I can take on the world at the moment.

need to do my last assignment today for my first OU module, but my mind is full of cupcakes!!

Lol kavics you do make me laugh with why you're called Lilly.

My budget is sooooo tight, and so is my timescale on all the things I want to do this week, so I better get off and do them I suppose.
