For F*** sake now I know why people don't bother listing things on ebay. I have already had my first stupid question of the evening, my items haven't even been listed an hour and someone has already asked even though it clearly states, "UK bidders only, I only post within the uk". As to whether I would post it to Belgium...... erm..... no..... mind you I suppose I should just be grateful for the interest I guess.

Anyway enough of me whinging, after all that ebaying I'm knackered. Sleepy time.

  • I sympathise, about the hassle of writing listings and the general faff of dealing with some buyers. I tend not to bother to comment about where I'll post anymore just have my settings so that noone can bid from outside the UK.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Morning, well I'm drinking coffee not tea today, am knackered from waking up at stupid o'clock. I always struggle sleeping when OH is away.

So update on store cupboard challenge: today is day three, for day one and day two I had porridge for breakfast, ryvita for lunch and pasta for tea, I'll be having the same today but am round my nans for tea, yum yum. So so far so good

    Store cupboard challenge 2/29

The making £130 challenge (was originally £100 but with my emergency tax etc, it has gone up!!)

So far I have got £3 from the chickens, should be getting my mizuma money when I send the phones back and don't want to put the cheque up here until I have paid it in.

    So so far £3/£130

I also have little goals of make £100 on ebay and make £100 on Amazon, so we will see how they go.

Right best send OH an email and then get up, really don't want to though, am tired and it's very grey out.

Can I join the bad sleep club too :(. I think my old dogs back end is going and he messed in the bedroom (he's always slept up here) - i hate the thought that he is old, but cleaning up in the middle of the night is no fun.

I ended up spending last night reading diaries instead of decluttering as I was doing some online work at the same time. So now have 2 days to do today.

Missy, why don't you want to post it to Belgium? I always say yes, email them the correct postage (with tracking) and I never had a bad experience. You might sell things quicker.

I did sleep bad last night, OH is getting a cold and he snored, I ended up going on the sofa bed in the middle of the night. He woke me up at 6 saying 'come to bed lovely' and than i couldn't manage to go back to sleep (on wed i get up at 7). Rubbish but hey, we have to go on...

Well done on eggs, doing very well. Hey, Missy, buy MG's book, it's really good for someone who is studying!!!
  • Hi Missy

Well done on selling the eggs.

I know we are trying to be positive and all that but I just wanted to warn you of egg thieves!!!!

I live in a lovely village on a main road so we get lots of through traffic so our eggs sell really well, in fact we can barely keep up with demand.

Ocassionally we have had the odd box of eggs stolen but we didn't mind too much as that is why we price our eggs at £1 to cover any that are stolen.

The other weekend someone stole 5 boxes , they even had the cheek to leave 2p in the box. I assume that was because from the house it looked like they had paid so we didn't go after them.

I was so angry and started selling from the door only but that was too much hassle so now we only put a max of 2 boxes out at a time.

The funniest thing was that when we were selling at the door for a week, I put some empty boxes out (with stones in to weigh them down) so people could see we were selling them but then there was a sign saying that they had to knock. One night the boxes with stones had gone and the person had only left £1.21 so obviously could not come back to complain as they had not left enough in the first place :rotfl:

    Thieving Gits!!!

Hey EE thank you for the advice I will definitely be more watchful and less trusting. some people hey?!

hi Kavics thanks for that, if it was something I didn't think I would shift here I probably would, but it's on a jacket I already have 8 watchers for and others are selling really easily on Ebay so I will wait and see.

OOOh whats MG;s book called might have a little look.

Well I was out all of yesterday evening, so I didn't get chance to declutter so will do more tonight.

I'm sorry to all of those that aren't sleeping properly, I hope your dog is ok Pippajo xx

I woke up at 4am again this morning, sooo tired now, anyway must dry my hair for work.
