i would like some advice please on getting a mortgage for 20000. i have 160000 for a deposit but need to borrow an extra 20000. the problem i have is that on my credit file is a default from 2004 which was settled in 2004. and the other thing is i have two applications on one for a mortgage and the other a secured loan. these were both paid off in 2006 has i was widowed. they are showing on my credit file as late payments. do you think i will beable to borrow the 20000 with having such a large deposit. i have no other debts at all.
